Letu Automotive manufactures sponge rubber cords and extruded rubber sponge strips from 5mm – 38mm diameter; in a range of polymers: EPDM rubber and Silicone rubber. They are used for a wide range of sealing applications: outer lid gaskets for sealing cases, automotive applications, sealing rubber rods in oil industry, high pressure gauges and meters, plugging holes in extruded rubber fenders and more.

• Silicone Sponge Rubber Cord – often serving as a rubber gasket for applications that demand exceptional sealing properties, unlike the first two types, silicone sponge rubber cords are not compatible for use when dealing with concentrated acids, solvents, dilute alkalis and oils.
• EPDM Sponge Rubebr Cord – is remarkably durable. It is resistant to weathering, ozone, water and steam. EPDM sponge rubber cord is also applicable for both high and low temperature applications.
